Judy Landrieu Klein is a Catholic wife, mother and grandmother whose life wisdom was gained in the fields of suffering, redemption and restoration. Through her apostolate, Memorare Ministries, she offers words of holy hope to those looking for a respite from the storms of life.  She does this through both the spoken and written word, as well as through a Christian counseling ministry.

A “revert” to Catholicism, Judy received a Master’s Degree in Theological Studies from the University of Dallas. She completed a doctoral program in Bioethics at the Regina Apostolorum Pontifical Atheneum in Rome, and is ABD (all but dissertation) for a PhD in Bioethics.  She served as an adjunct professor of Theology at Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans for seven years and received the mandatum from Archbishop Alfred Hughes in 2004.

Judy received her License in Pastoral Counseling in 2017 and works with her husband, Dr. Mark Gelis, at My Father's House Christian Counseling Services.  She will receive a PhD in Clinical Pastoral Counseling in December 2017.

A published author, Judy’s books include Miracle Man,  an Amazon Kindle Bestseller in Catholicism, which chronicles her late husband Bernie’s near death experience and deathbed conversion following a massive heart attack in December 2008.  Judy's most recent book, Mary's Way: The Power of Entrusting Your Child to God was published by Ave Maria Press as a CatholicMom.com imprint book in 2016.  Both of Judy's books received the nihil obstat from the Catholic Church, and both were published in Poland, where they are bestsellers.

Judy served as co-host of Radio Maria’s Apologetics Live program for 4 1/2 years and has appeared numerous times on television and radio, including on EWTN’s Women of Grace, Focus Worldwide Television’s Focus, Ave Maria Radio’s Kresta in the Afternoon and Teresa Tomeo's Catholic Connection. She has been the keynote speaker at many faith-based events around the country, including Magnificat Women’s Breakfasts and Legatus dinners.

Judy lives in the New Orleans area with her husband, Mark.  She has five children, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Judy’s blog, Holy Hope, can be found at memorareministries.com. She also writes regularly for AleteiaCatholicMom.com, and Catholic Digest.
